The meeting
In the afternoon of March 27, 2018, at the Ministry of Science and Technology, there was a meeting with participation from Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hau - Director of Department of Science and Technology for Economics – Technology branches cum Director of the Promotion of Non Fired Brick Production and Utilization in Viet Nam Project (PMU), United Nations Development Program (UNDP) representatives, Ms. Akiko Fujii, UNDP Deputy Country Director; Ms. Jenty Kirsch Wood, Senior Technical Advisor for Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, UNDP Program Officer, together with representatives from National Technology Innovation Fund, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Deputy Director and representatives of the National Science and Technology Development Fund, Mr. Do Tien Dzung, Director together with officials and experts come from PMU, UNDP, and Funds.
The stakeholders exchanged information on the performance and cooperation capability in researching, designing the Social Impact Fund in order to mobilize investment from the State and Individuals to Organization, Enterprises for sustainable environment and social impacts with profits as well as solutions to enhance the implementation of the National Technology Innovation Fund and the Loan Guarantee Fund from “Promoting energy conservation in small and medium enterprise in Vietnam Project” funded by GEF, which is currently managed by the National Science and Technology Development Fund (Nafosted).
