Lao Cai encourages the use of non-fired building materials
Since February 2018, Lao Cai province has implemented regulations on the use of non-fired materials in the provincial construction of works (non-fired materials include: Brick Concrete Tiles / Panel from aerated concrete / Concrete blocks / slabs from lightweight concrete with a volume of less than 1 ton / m3 Plasterboard wall / 3D panel / Concrete panel / Panel Light type brick produced from construction waste / industrial waste, silicate brick).
Accordingly, the projects invested by State Budget / non-State Budget/ loans of enterprises owned by State capital more than 30% in Lao Cai province, which must use non-fired building materials in total construction materials: minimum 80% (construction works of 09 storeys or more), minimum70% (in Lao Cai city), minimum 50% ( in the remaining districts); In case of works with specific technical requirements that can not use non-fired building materials, it must be approved by the Lao Cai People's Committee.
Lao Cai Province strongly encourages organizations / individuals and the entire people to use non-fired building materials to construct works irrespective of their source and size.
The use of non-fired building materials in construction is an important part of building a friendly urban area and positively impacting the production process of reducing greenhouse gas emissions towards sustainable environmental protection.
